• Reception in Galliate from the commune and the Achille Varzi Museum

  Thanks to the management of Ambrogio Pollastro in coordination with the Fangio Foundation, the delegation of El Camino de Fangio was received in Galliate (Italy) by the authorities of the Achille Varzi Museum Hall and the community trustee, Mr. Claudiano Di Caprio, a magnificent experience resulted in the visit to the old workshops of the Argentine Team and of course the city that received Fangio, Froilán González and company at the beginning of the international campaign of Argentine motorsports.

  In today's stage, with El Camino de Fangio in Italy, we moved to Galliate where Ambrogio Pollastro, curator and person in charge of the Achille Varzi Museum Room, welcomed us at the "Juan Manuel Fangio" roundabout, inaugurated on September 9, 2022.

  Our dear friend managed the activities in Galliate, so that we could open the doors of the old workshops, visit the Museum Room, the reception of the syndaco in the commune of Galliate Claudiano Di Caprio and a fantastic lunch at the Santuario di Varallino.

  Just like that day of the inauguration, Peter Nygaard, honorary advisor of the Fangio Foundation, was present at the events along with Augusto Cuestas and the sons of Juan Manuel Fangio.

  On behalf of the Fangio Foundation and the El Camino de Fangio delegation, we presented a gift of gratitude along with Balcarce, Marca País, Visit Argentina and the Argentine Consulate in Milan, which also accompanied us on this visit.
