Record-breaking editions in Vienna and Toronto further solidified its success. After opening in London in August 2024, the exhibition received the prestigious "Best Visitor Experience" award at the Access All Areas Awards.
In recent years, Formula 1® has emerged as one of the fastest-growing sports globally, captivating millions of fans across all continents. Formula 1® The Exhibition offers motorsport enthusiasts and newcomers alike the chance to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of F1® through a one-of-a-kind experience for all ages.
The Exhibition takes visitors through a unique narrative journey across six specially designed rooms, covering over 2,000 m², curated in collaboration with award-winning curators, artists, and filmmakers.
Buenos Aires will be the first "pit stop" on a tour through several South American countries. Historically, the region has played a vital role in Formula 1®, with great champions such as Juan Manuel Fangio, Ayrton Senna, Nelson Piquet, and Emerson Fittipaldi. The Brazilian Grand Prix remains a fan and driver favorite, with the legendary Interlagos circuit hosting some of the sport's most memorable season finales. Recently, the popularity of the sport has surged again in the region thanks to rising stars like Argentine driver Franco Colapinto and Brazilian rookie Gabriel Bortoleto of the Kick Sauber F1 Team.
“It’s a true privilege to be the promoters of Formula 1 The Exhibition in South America. We’re aware of the passion Latin Americans feel for motorsport, especially Formula 1, and we’re excited to bring this experience to Argentine fans,” said Sebastián Bulgheroni, Chief Commercial Officer Global of Fenix Entertainment. “We’ll start the tour in Argentina and continue in other countries with a strong F1 fan base. Clearly, having such an incredible partnership and adding a cutting-edge show like The F1 Exhibition to our event portfolio holds great value. This event, along with our diversified strategy, strengthens our position as Argentina’s fastest-growing entertainment production company with international reach.”
The journey through Formula 1® The Exhibition begins in "Once Upon a Time in Formula 1®", where a mix of rare photographs, historic F1® cars, films, and artifacts immerse visitors in iconic and defining moments of the sport. The Design Lab opens the doors to the heart of a Formula 1® factory, revealing how teams design and build their cars each season. Drivers & Duels celebrates the sport’s most iconic drivers and legendary races since its inception in 1950.
The Fallen Heroes room tells the stories of the drivers who tragically lost their lives in pursuit of glory. The following gallery, Survivors, recounts Romain Grosjean’s harrowing 240 km/h crash in Bahrain 2020 and his miraculous escape from the flames. This dramatic presentation includes the remains of his HAAS car, along with a new multi-screen video installation featuring exclusive interviews and never-before-seen footage from the incident.
The exhibition culminates in The Pit Wall, a cinematic and immersive experience that allows fans to relive the greatest moments in Formula 1® history like never before. As the opening date approaches, more announcements will follow regarding new spaces and elements that will be part of Formula 1® The Exhibition in Buenos Aires, promising even more excitement for racing fans.
Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1®, stated:
“As we celebrate Formula 1’s 75th anniversary, honoring its history and legacy has never been more meaningful. Since our first stop in Madrid, the exhibition has successfully told the story of Formula 1, and we are thrilled to mark its South American debut in Buenos Aires. The region’s passion for the sport has seen a strong resurgence, and we can’t wait for fans to celebrate the role they’ve played in F1’s incredible journey.”Jonathan Linden, Co-CEO of Round Room Live and Executive Producer of the Exhibition, added:
"Buenos Aires, with its rich Formula 1 history, is the perfect location for our South American debut. Its vibrant blend of sports, culture, and entertainment makes it an ideal choice to launch this new chapter of the exhibition.”For more information and to register for the presale, visit: www.f1exhibition.com/buenosaires
