37th Anniversary Fangio Museum
Last Tuesday, November 21, we enjoyed a new anniversary celebration, in this case the 37th. We present the gallery of helmets of Argentine drivers in F1 and inaugurate a new space dedicated to one of the most outstanding drivers of our sports motorsport, Carlos Alberto REUTEMANN.
At the opening ceremony of the gallery of Argentine drivers who competed in Formula 1, we presented the helmets of Miguel Aagel Guerra, Gastón Mazzacane and Carlos Alberto Reutemann.
The helmet of the beloved Mario Andretti, F1 World Champion in 1978, was also officially presented and will be part of our permanent exhibition. While to complete this already fabulous display, Fernando Alonso's helmet already adorns the permanent exhibition of the Fangio Museum. The Asturian, a great idol of world motorsports, world champion of the highest category in 2005 and 2006 who continues to compete at the highest level, was the one who, in a noble gesture, made the exchange at the 2023 Mexico City Grand Prix when the Foundation gave the replica of the one used by Juan Manuel Fangio.
With the presence of special guests such as Cora Reutemann (Carlos' daughter), authorities and journalists, we concluded the evening with the inauguration of a tribute space to Carlos Alberto Reutemann with the temporary exhibition of the Williams FW07B with which the Argentine driver competed in the championship 1980 F1.
