OSCAR AVENTÍN

He was born in Morón on December 16, 1946. His activity focused on Road Tourism, a category in which he began at the same time as his brother Antonio. He debuted the 1st. May 1977 in Bahía Blanca.

Only three seasons after its start, it was already the runner-up of the 1979/80 tournament won by Francisco "Colo" Espinoza. The following year he was again the champion's escort, but this time the crown was for his brother Tony.

For the third consecutive time he is runner-up in 1982 behind Jorge Martínez Boero. All three with Dodge.

He is a successful and permanent animator of Road Tourism, until in 1991, already with a Ford Falcon, champion of the category, title repeated the following year.
It can be said that in 1993 it is the season of his retirement and he does so with a third place in the championship. Then he ran some very few races with a Chevrolet, but without important results.

He ran in the T.C. over 230 races and achieved 25 wins and two championships. He is currently an active leader of the A.C.T.C ..

THE WINS OF "EL PUMA"

With Dodge from his debut in 1978 until he left the mark in mid-1985, he had won 13 series and 8 finals.

In June 1985, he began his campaign with Ford Falcon, which extended for a space of that and eight more seasons, that is until the end of 1993. Then he made some presentations with Chevrolet but without achieving good rankings or good results.

This motivated his retirement from the tracks to devote himself fully to the leadership of the commission of the A.C.T.C.
