The international Formula 3 was born at the end of the validity of the old Formula Juniors. Until it was divided into two conceptions: what we could call "unlimited" in its possibility of modification and development -Formula 2- and Formula 3, whose basic characteristics are listed below.

Motors derived from series, of not more than 1.000 cc of displacement and a single camshaft, lateral; the feeding is restricted to an entrance no greater than 36 mm in diameter. The weight cannot be less than 400 kg and no more than 4 speeds are allowed in its gearbox. These cars must also start by their own means.

 

CAMPAIGN OF JUAN MANUEL BORDEU WITH THIS CAR
The Automobile Club Argentino programmed a tournament integrated by four races: Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata, Córdoba, and Buenos Aires again.

The team that integrated Juan Manuel Bordeu belonged to the sports magazine "Automundo" under the Brabham BT 15 F3 with the No. 58.
